Founded in 1895 by two brothers, integrity, loyalty, honesty and professionalism were the principles on which Graves Brothers Company was established and still operates under to this day. Today, Graves Brothers Company is still owned by the same Graves family and is managed by the fourth generation. It is the oldest company of continuous existence that grows Indian River Citrus fruit in Florida, USA.
The home office of Graves Brothers Company is located in Vero Beach, Florida and the company continues to maintain agricultural operations in Florida and a timber operation in Horry County, near Myrtle Beach, S.C. GBC's Florida operation includes citrus production and pre-development residential and commercial properties located in Indian River, St. Lucie and Hendry Counties. In addition, GBC owns multi-family residential apartments in Matthews, North Carolina, outside of Charlotte, and Land O' Lakes, Florida, north of Tampa. GBC also owns a CVS Drug Store; one in Wabasso, FL.
